Two Charged Over Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Attack

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a suspected capsaicin spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and charges for administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the assault occurred, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after exiting a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A toddler was among those injured in the event. Five people required hospital care and were later discharged.

This event – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – led to disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a brief period.
