Liverpool's Star Extends Statement to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones
Jones has shared that Mohamed Salah said sorry to the group of players after the uproar from his recent interview.
What Happened
He was omitted from a vital match subsequent to making accusations and stating his relationship with manager had deteriorated.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has refused to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the player.

Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere remained positive. “He was his usual self, his demeanour was positive and it was business as usual,” the midfielder explained.
Jones also suggested that a player's desire to start is preferable. “It's clear there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Positive Results
The team's performance have been impressive in the period after the interview fallout. The player is convinced the outburst were never meant to harm the team.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a good place,” he finished. “We’re past that now and we’re uniting strongly, getting results and on a positive run.”
